Susan says she can really only meet on Fridays for crits. Maybe it would be a good idea to post the availability of each staff in these comments as they are discovered.
Visiting artists:
Teus week 2: June Northcroft Grant-painter/fiber,
week3:Patti Warshina-ceramic sculptor
week4:James Luna-performance/photo- ALSO He is doing a performance (maybe the one Erica is reenacting?) that Friday 25th at 8. It is free for us, but we need to reserve tickets now/soon to get in. I am in. We need to either comment about being in, or get a tally at a Monday meeting ahead of time before it gets booked.
Week5: Joe Tougas/Ross Matteson...mid day...might just be FOVA but we could probably sit in. Will ask.
Week8: Micheal McGrath
She also told me to look up the New York Review of Books, which I guess is the goto publication to find what good new literature is out and how to write a good critical essay about a book. Maybe look at it if you are having a little trouble responding to the readings or looking to find a good read.
I think I am also driving to Seattle Arts Walk this Thursday evening.
